Baskatong is an immense body of water located about three hours by car north of Montreal and Ottawa.
The AFC covers the area of the Baskatong reservoir itself (at its maximum operating level) as well as five related lakes, namely lakes Piscatosine, Cockanagog, Camera, Du Chêne and Georges. The sections navigable from the reservoir, rivers and tributary streams which are not already included in a structured wildlife territory are also part of it.

This magnificent body of water dotted with islands, bays and sandy beaches is a paradise for sport fishermen and vacationers. There are several species of fish there!
The Baskatong is famous for its walleye fishing , but you can also catches pike, lake trout, whitefish and landlocked salmon.
